Nabila Wirakusumah

Nabila is a multidisciplinary artist and designer currently based in Brooklyn. Born in Indonesia, raised in Thailand and Hong Kong, and educated in New York and Denmark, Nabila's multi-faceted background is echoed in the variety of her creative pursuits. Her art ranges from watercolor and oil paintings to generative art through coding, and her design experience has taken her from web graphics to set design in the fashion industry. She currently works at Studio Hansraj in Brooklyn.

Nabila's work has been featured in BRIC, DRØME, Further Magazine, Dark Phrases (Sarah Lawrence College), Visual Arts Review (Sarah Lawrence College), and The Phoenix (Sarah Lawrence College).

She is the recipient of the Design Excellence Award in Graphic Design from the Danish Institute for Study Abroad.
